Our Story

Hi! We’re Zach and Michaela McBride!

Brideley Home is a combination of our family names - family and home are at the heart of what we do and

Our love for quality homewares runs deep and has grown as we relaocted and renovated a 1918 home over the last few years

Our recent travels allowed us meet the talented artisans who handle and repair them.

In preparation for you, they are gently repaired and professionally washed by our team who has generations of experience in handling these beautiful antique rugs, ensuring they will last decades to come. The aim to keep the beautiful wear (which we call abrash), which is what makes them so unique and valuable —  ensuring they are sturdy, and that any old patches are repaired to perfection.

Each rug comes with an authenticity card indicating the region the rug was made and it’s age.

Most of our rugs would taken between a few months- a few years to loom, making us fall even more in love with these one of a kind rugs. A true heirloom to be passed through the generations.

Our hearts burst for these truly one of a kind antique rugs - hand loomed between 60-120 years ago they have aged with Grace, adding warmth and history to your home.

Hester produces fresh, organic produce from local farmers in New York. Even our spices are fresh. Just because pickling is a preservation process doesn’t mean you can use dried-up thyme or week-old asparagus that’s already a little spongy.

We want to give our customers crisp, crunchy and delicious pickled vegetables and fruits. Most of all, we want to expand people’s palates and prove that pickles don’t always come in a green or red variety.
